It is with heavy hearts that the Kids ‘n’ Us: Families Facing Diabetes Society has decided to cancel the 2020 conference scheduled for May 2nd. While we have been monitoring the Covid-19 outbreak, we must put the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and vendors above all else. If the planning committee is able to reschedule the conference later in the year, we will send out an update at that time.
We want to ensure that our immune compromised participants are still receiving the support they require during this pandemic. Please use the following link, put together by MySugr, for preventative measures and health management for people with diabetes. There are also local agencies that can provide diabetes support if required. Just to mention a few is Alberta Diabetes Foundation, Diabetes Canada and JDRF. The diabetes community will rally together, while social distancing, to get through these uncertain times.

All registration fees, sponsorships and vendor fees will be returned in the coming weeks. As we are a volunteer based organization, please be patient as we work through the logistics.
